Burrell Architects creates environments where intention and experience come together seamlessly. Our work begins with a careful understanding of context — the character of the existing building, the culture of the surrounding community, and the everyday needs of the people who will inhabit each space. From spatial flow to material selection, every decision is purposeful, shaping interiors that feel clear, warm, and emotionally grounded. We believe great design communicates without trying too hard, offering clarity in circulation, authenticity in detailing, and a strong sense of place you can feel the moment you walk through the door.
Our interiors are crafted to elevate human experience through thoughtful planning, refined materials, and a consistent design language. We balance contemporary craft with timeless elements, using light, texture, and proportion to create spaces that encourage movement, interaction, and calm. Everything we design is built around usability, durability, and atmosphere — interiors that look beautiful, perform effortlessly, and support the rhythms of daily life. With every project, Burrell Architects strives to create environments that are intuitive, memorable, and made to last.

Design Intention & Approach — 1827–1829 Wiltberger Street
Making heritage useful, beautiful, and future-ready.
At Burrell Architects, we transform existing buildings into vibrant destinations through clear planning, authentic materials, and human-centered interiors. The Wiltberger Street work demonstrates how our team turns concept into place: rigorous floor plans, immersive interior studies, and a cohesive material story—delivered as one, integrated experience.
Our Design Intention
The floor plans for 1827–1829 Wiltberger Street prioritize clarity and flow—intuitive entries, sightlines that orient visitors, and flexible zones that support retail, food-and-beverage, and community uses. We keep circulation legible, adjacencies efficient, and back-of-house effortless, so operations work as beautifully as the spaces look.
Interior Philosophy
The interior studies explore a refined, contemporary language that respects the industrial character of the building. We layer wood, metal, and textured surfaces; balance daylight with comfortable ambient lighting; and scale details to the way people really gather—at a café table, along a concourse, or within a flexible event room. The result is a welcoming interior identity that feels fresh, timeless, and distinctly urban.
Material Strategy
The material board for 1829 Wiltberger establishes a tactile palette—warm woods, honest metals, resilient stone and concrete finishes—that connects planning, interiors, and brand. Every selection serves multiple goals: durability for high-traffic use, easy maintenance for operators, and a consistent, memorable character for visitors
