Pantai Hijau Marina Master Plan

Jakarta Bay Waterfront - Master Planning

“A Climate‑Responsive, Human‑Centered Master Plan for a New Waterfront Identity.”

The Jakarta Bay Waterfront Master Plan was conceived as an ambitious architectural vision—an immersive coastal district where the city meets the horizon in a seamless blend of design, landscape, and water. The proposal imagined a world-class marina framed by a sculpted skyline of elegant residential towers and waterfront hotels, each positioned to capture sweeping views of the bay. At ground level, a continuous promenade animated by cafés, plazas, and lush tropical planting offered a rich, highly walkable public realm. Sunlit parks, intimate village streets, and a layered sequence of open spaces invited exploration from dawn to dusk. The project emphasized experiential design: golden-hour reflections along the marina edge, shaded pedestrian corridors, and a vibrant nighttime waterfront glowing with architectural light. Although ultimately unbuilt, the master plan stands as a bold expression of coastal urbanism—an evocative vision of waterfront living crafted through careful form-making, atmosphere, and place-driven design.
